The shares fell out of bed after Claimar announced the shock departure of its finance director. Claimar also provided a slightly mixed trading update with two new contract wins adding 3,000 hrs/wk to volumes countered by the loss of three small contracts totalling 1,600 hours which were not extended. Trading in the Complete Care division appears to be encouraging, with new wins reported in the complex category. Largely due to higher costs from the working time directive (following changes introduced last October), broker Arden has shaded its forecast to eps of 7.4p for the current year to 30 September, with 8.5p next year.
