Ahead of reporting on 9 July, Spice has issued a pre-close statement for the year to 29 April. This reported good growth, particularly in its utility services division, which is benefiting from major spending programmes in the water and electricity sectors. Spice has successfully renewed and extended its contract with Yorkshire Water for meter installation and refurbishment services and also signed new contracts with Anglian Water and Scottish Water for water meter installations and replacements. At the same time, there were also key renewals and extensions with other customers including Siemens (meter reading) and EDF (electricity).
