Scott Wilson - Trading ahead of expectations

Scott Wilson has issued a trading statement that indicates full year results to be announced on 12 July will be ahead of market expectations. The trading statement reports that it has continued to make good progress in H2 in buoyant markets with a strong order intake, translating into a record order book at the year end (this was £250m at the first half). Scott Wilson has also announced the acquisition of DCL Consulting Engineers, a Plymouth based property consultant for up to £1.1m, adding 25 employees and £1.7m revenue at above average sector margins. Brewin Dolphin has upgraded its eps target for the year already ended by 5% to 14.9p, with the current year's forecast nudged up by 3% to 17.7p. ...
