Scott Wilson - Forecasts upgraded

Scott Wilson has issued a year end trading update ahead of results on 20 July. This indicated a strong underlying performance with two major contracts since the group’s listing in March (namely the Crossrail contract and Edinburgh Airport rail link) adding £30m to the order book which now stands at a record £200m. Scott Wilson also announced the earnings enhancing acquisition of a minority holding in Pavement Engineering for £0.63m cash. For the year ended on 30 April, Brewin has upgraded its forecast slightly to £10.2m pretax (eps 12.2p) but that is largely irrelevant given the capital structure that existed prior to float.
