Despite more positive news emerging on further drug marketing authorisations for Lawrence’s antiparasitic, Ecomectin, house broker Charles Stanley took a knife to its forecast for sales and profits over the month. The broker has reduced its pretax profit forecast from £5.42m to £2.92m for the current year to March ’07 (eps forecast down from 12.2p to 8.9p). Pretax forecast for next year is reduced from £14.88m to £5.85m (eps down from 33.5p to 16.4p). New sales forecasts for the next two years are £23m and £33m.
