Caretech - Number of beds up 69% since IPO

Caretech completed its second and even larger eps enhancing acquisition during May with the purchase of Lonsdale (Midlands) for £15m cash. Lonsdale provides a range of specialist services for adults with learning difficulties including residential and nursing care, supported living schemes and day care facilities. It operates 28 locations, the majority of which are freehold or long leasehold properties and has a total capacity of 159 beds and 24 day care places. Caretech still has £16m headroom on its existing £50m bank facility following the deal.
