NETeller - Looks well placed to meet forecasts

NETeller has added two major online merchants, Betfair and Expekt.com, to its merchant base. Both merchants now accept transactions from NETeller's members. Earlier in the month, NETeller reported Q1 results with users, daily receipts and profit before tax all doubling compared to the same quarter last year. The number of new members signing up in Q1 05 increased 38% since Q4 04, leaving NETeller with over 1.5 million users at the end of the quarter. The growing user base has doubled average daily receipts to US$2.9m compared to a year ago. On that basis, Q1 profit emerged at US$18.2m or eps of 14 cents.
