The shares are up a little this month following the group's results for the year to 31 March.  Revenues which derived from various products marketed by other companies were slightly ahead at £42.6m and pretax loss was £34.3m, of which £12.6m was mainly restructuring costs.  Net cash at the year end amounted to £34.4m, which the group believes is adequate to execute its strategy. Under a new chief executive, Louise Makin, who joined last October, BTG will now intensify its focus on acquiring life science technologies (two thirds of its 50-odd technologies already fall into this category). As a consequence it is making further modest cost savings, including subletting surplus office space in Central London ...
