In the light of latest results from Findel for the year to 31 March which came in almost £2m ahead of expectations, brokers have again lifted their forecasts. Pretax profit for the year was £41.2m for earnings of 33.4p. The performance was driven by continuing strong growth on the home shopping side and a recovery in educational supplies. A key driver was the continued strong performance from the home shopping division where turnover rose 22% to £209m and on a five year view has now grown by 184%. Operating profit last year grew by 36% (to £33.9m) and has risen by 220% over the same five year timeframe.
