It was a while coming but Victoria has landed not its biggest ever deal but one that CEO Geoff Wilding describes as its best ever. A trade buyer failed to complete and assisted by Koch, Victoria pounced in three weeks to buy Cali Bamboo for an enterprise value of US$104m. Cali distributes flooring products in the US from two warehouses in South Carolina and California and sales split 50:50 direct to consumer (DTC) off its website and from big box retailers/dealers. For the year to 30 April, Cali had sales of US$171.6m and reported ebitda of U$13.8m, up from US$124.3m and US$10m.
