I had an interesting meeting with CEO Ben Crawford following CentralNic’s Q1 results to end March. Revenue increased by 48% to US$84.4m. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 23% to US$10.1m (Q1 2020: US$8.2m). Net debt is down to US$79m.CNic now reports along three lines. Keynote is that like-for-like revenue growth in Q1 21 was 16%. ‘Marketing’ is the new name for the Monetisation division, which was formed following the acquisitions of Team Internet and Codewise and continues to lead organic growth (+19% versus +13% coming from the Direct and Indirect Services divisions).
