Lighthouse’s main line of business is providing financial advice to members of 21 affinity groups. The shares have been on a tear since I first highlighted them last month, when I pointed out that the business had £9m+ cash (7p a share) against a market cap. of £30m. Taking account of a £1.1m freehold in Brighton and adding back investment meant the PE at 27p was c.5 in a market where we have become used to paying a high PE for growth. Lighthouse’s business is on a roll with record new business won last year and as the customer base increases, recurring income becomes increasingly important (in the latest just-reported financial year 48% of sales, £25m, was recurring income).
