Filtronic said Q4 was strong and it expects sales for the year ended May to be up 135% to £35m with profits ahead of market expectations. Within the mix, outperformance is driven by the Filtronic Wireless bit, which supplies antenna products. Broker Panmure expects that the proportion of the sales uplift dropping through to earnings is going to be 39%-40%. The broker forecasts eps of 0.4p for the year ended, trebling to 1.2p this year to drop the PE to 10. I am a buyer ahead of results on 1 August. ...
