Some of the most successful investments are in companies that deliberately set out to grow slowly. A marvellous example of the slow but sure approach is telemetrics firm Quartix (covered elsewhere in this issue), which has been sticking religiously to what it can do and doing it well.  When I was looking at Quartix I also came across another telematics provider called Trakm8. A bald description of what Trakm8 does might make it sound like the two businesses are very similar but they’re actually incredibly different in many respects.
