Full year results were as good as expected with strong sales from each of Telford’s developments in inner/East London where it focuses on sub-£600k price points. Overall including affordable housing, open market completions (including joint ventures) increased by 29% from 374 to 482 units  giving rise to revenue up 42% at £245.6m and profits up 28% to £32.2m. Boosted by the £50m equity placing last year, net debt at the year-end was £17m (gearing 9%) down from £53m.Average selling prices were reduced slightly to £417,000 (2015: £439,000) due to the mix of developments (eg. the prior year included a Bishopsgate development) and not a fall in underlying prices.
