Very strong interims from Pressure with sales, pretax profit and eps up 21%, 57% and 38% to £19.9m, £2.1m and 12.7p respectively. Together with the results, Pressure also said H2 started strongly with its order book 59% ahead and it consequently expects to “exceed current market forecasts.†Pressure is firing in all three divisions: cylinders, engineered products and alternative energy. The historical mainstay in Cylinders saw sales and operating profit both up 23% to £10.4m and £2.27m respectively, as well as generating impressive 24% growth in its closing order book.
