Communisis - Three acquisitions since last update

Communisis has acquired The Communications Agency for £7.25m (£6.6m cash plus 2.4m shares), which one broker calculates represents an exit multiple of 8x operating profits this year. Based in London, TCA specializes in brand response and customer relationship marketing. It has long-standing client relationships with leading brands in the financial services, retail and consumer goods sectors and therefore throws up significant cross selling opportunities. Communisis has also made two bolt-on acquisitions since our last note. It has bought Jacaranda for £1.5m (£0.9m cash plus 0.9m shares) and Public Creative for £0.35m cash.
