For the six months to 31 March, Redhall has recorded a pretax profit up 63% to £3.1m on sales up 56% to £64.8m. These results include a five month contribution from Chieftain, which was bought in October and excluding acquisitions organic sales growth was 16%. Earnings were up 25% to 7.9p. Net cash at the period end stood at £5.1m. Last year, Redhall's presentation of its results changed when the former manufacturing business was re-classified into the nuclear business and Redhall reported on a two divisional basis; nuclear services and engineering services.
