Photo Me has announced it is considering the possible sale of Swiss-based subsidiary Imaging Solutions. Imaging Solutions manufactures wholesale photoprocessing labs but has recently fallen into losses as the credit crisis has impacted on sales of high value equipment. The disposal will enable Photo-Me to focus manufacturing at KIS based in Grenoble, which supplies instant service equipment. It’s interesting to note that since our last update, former director Dan David has also been buying. David was chairman until 2006 when he transferred his interest to a charitable fund, the Dan David Foundation. He remains president and also sits on the board of hedge fund GLG.
