At the AGM, Kentz reported that trading for the first four months of the year is in line with market forecasts. There was an order intake of US$200m in the first four months, leaving the order book at the end of April of US$993m. It is actively bidding on orders worth US$2 billion with the Middle East offering most of the near term opportunities - but it has also seen success in other areas with a recent engineering services award in Canada and a construction contract in Australia.
