Eaga's pre-close statement reiterated that trading is in line with expectations. Underlying this has been a six month contribution from the Scottish Power CERT contract won last year and the Digital Switchover contract. Collins Stewart forecasts eps of 13p for the year ended on 30 May (to be announced on 2 September) and 14.3p this year. The shares have finally grown into their valuation and look inexpensive although the market’s focus is presently away from defensives.
