Anyone looking at the share price chart for Centamin Egypt (CEY;87p), a junior gold company, might feel the party is over with the share price up almost four-fold since October. There is an old adage that ‘it is better to travel than to arrive’ so they might feel they have missed the boat because Centamin began producing from its first mine this month as it moves from being an explorer to a producer. We think the shares have further to run if only because the company is expected to move to the Full List, which will see a greater number of analysts cover it.
