Shares in the insurance software services company surged over the month after announcing it has received a bid approach. SSP was our main recommendation last April at 122p and just one month later it went and launched a bid for quoted rival Sirius, doubling revenues in the process. At the latest 155p, the shares trade on 14x March 08 earnings, falling to 11 for the current year.We suggested a bid was likely in April given the large customer bases producing recurring and highly visible revenue streams; await developments. ...
