Eaga has announced that it has entered into framework agreements with all six major utilities in the UK as part of the delivery of their obligations under the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT). CERT places obligations on utility companies to fund domestic energy efficiency measures (which Eaga installs on their behalf) and spending over the next three years is expected to be £2.8 billion - double that of the previous scheme.
