Prime People (PRP; 99p) must rank as one of the market’s best kept secrets having totally transformed its operations earlier this year. The group, as currently constituted, was formed in January when in a move orchestrated by Christopher Heayberd, former finance director at recruitment firm PSD, Prime acquired Macdonald, a recruitment agency to the commercial property sector. Prime was more or less a cash shell at the time having sold its former business of hotel industry recruitment to PSD some months earlier (PSD was - and still is - also a significant shareholder).
