Telecom Plus has announced the acquisition of  Sussex-based Telecommunications Manage-ment Ltd for a total £4.9m in cash (satisfiedby the repayment of inter-company liabilities to its parent Crane Telecom). Telecom Plus has also agreed to pay for certain tax losses within TML. TML provides fixed and mobile telephony servicesthrough a channel of resellers in the UK. Founded as part of Crane in1998, it is one of the few service providers in this market space withany critical mass. It has 6,500 SME customers and in the year to 30June 2001 generated sales of £13.4m.   TML now adds aninteresting second leg to Telecom Plus' business.
