Calnex Solutions - Calnex Shares climb 143% in only two months!

My decision to bring last month’s issue forward was prescient as just three days later Calnex said it will exceed expectations. Interims show sales up 37% to £7.7m and pretax profit up 90% to £2.3m. Eps were up 66% to 2.4p. Cenkos has lifted its sales forecasts for FY21 and FY22 by 11% and 12% to £15.4m and £16.4m, respectively. With strong gross margins and adjusting for the weighted number of shares, this translates into eps upgrades of 24% and 14% to 2.4p and 3.9p, respectively. The company tells me they expect to accelerate H2 investment in new products (up £0.5m in FY21 and £1m in FY22 to £3.8m and £4.5m, respectively).
