Having flagged in September that it would reduce its opening programme from the nine new restaurants last year, the latest H1 saw Fulham Shore open only two Franco Manca pizzerias (Bath and Cambridge) with a further one to open in H2 (Aldersgate). The lower level of openings resulted in investment of £1.7m (2017: £7m), which helped net debt reduce from £12m to £8.9m. Sales improved by £5.5m as last year’s stores made a full period contribution and grew to £33m (no like-for-like information provided). Ebitda was £4.1m, up from £3.3m.
