Scapa’s H1 showed pretax profit up 18% to £9.7m on sales up 4% to £119m. Eps grew by 25% to 5p. Net debt was £6.8m.Healthcare tapes now dominates at 65% of profits. Including six months from First Water, it delivered sales 21% higher at £43.4m and operating profit up 20% to £6.5m. Margins were 15%.
