Fundamental inflection points are actually quite rare, though they are always being predicted by analysts and commentators (me too if I’m honest!). Could current trends simply trundle on in 2015? Albeit with notably more volatility?Alone amongst major stock markets the US continued to hit new highs last month. Although the days straddling the New Year were far from encouraging for optimists, it feels like the Federal Reserve is not (yet?) prepared to see pronounced weakness in their equities. Why?
