I am in something of a dilemma at the moment. Whilst on holiday recently I saw plenty of people listening to music from Ipods but for the first time also an American lady reading from an e-book. For those of a certain generation such as myself, these devices all seems strange as one of the most important advantages of buying physical records and hardbound books over electronic downloads is that I find record sleeves and book covers beautiful. In a round about way, perhaps I am suggesting a caveat when it comes to recommending buying shares in MBL (MUBL; 175p), a business which distributes CDs and DVDs to non mainstream retailers such as supermarkets as the long term picture is one of decline as digital downloads continue to rise. ...
