The bad news at Pure Wafer (245p; PUR) is that the company charges out for its services in dollars, whilst its cost base is in pounds. The good news however is that in the last few months, Pure has put into place additional service capacity which will ensure forecasts are still met. It's easy to be sceptical at this point given that the group's exposure to the weak dollar is quite dramatic with every cent move representing an impact of £100,000 to profit but the group has already delivered on promises in the past and the shares are therefore worth watching.
