No surprises in results for the year to 30 September, following from the trading update in November. At the year end, bed numbers stood at 739, a whopping increase from 423 beds or 75% from 12 months earlier. Of that increase, 236 were from two acquisitions of Midlands-based Delam and Lonsdale and 80 were new homes added organically or extensions built to existing homes. Turnover was up 49% to £33.5m, including £4.9m from the two acquisitions for only part of the period. Adjusted pretax profit increased by 140% to £3.7m reflecting the spreading of the same cost base over a greater number of beds and eps was 8.1p (23% tax).
