Fisher has announced the acquisition of three privately-owned companies for £7.3m in cash. The more interesting ones are Remote Marine Systems (RMS) and Nuclear Decommissioning (NDL) which have come as a single package for £4.9m and will be combined with Fisher's existing nuclear decommissioning business in Cumbria.  In the year ended May 2004, the two made £0.62m pretax on sales of £3.5m.
