A solid set of interim results to 30 September saw another impressive performance on the home shopping side whilst the educationalsupplies business was held back as the educational sector deferred purchases due to uncertainty over the funding of teacher pay rises.  Even so, overall turnover managed to rise 21% to £142m andpretax profit by 27% to £2.6m.   Sales in the homeshopping division which operates through catalogues, offering productsand financial services to its customer base, grew  by 37% to£65.8m and operating profit by 27% to £2.9m.
