On SCSW, a big winner in the last 20 years has been Renew (RNWH; 880p), which supplies a range of critical asset renewal and maintenance services to the UK’s infrastructure network -  Rail, Nuclear, Roads  - where it is benefiting from long term spending programmes. The shares were a recommendation at 49p in 2006, which makes them a 16-bagger but even my most recent main write up in September 2020 at 430p has done well. Renew has just hit a new high as I write and at 880p, the shares trade on a PE of 13.8 for the current year, which looks similar to the PE of 13 for Galliford Try, the subject of this article. But Galliford has average net cash of 141p and 45p of investments, which makes it optically dirt cheap. Like Renew, Gallifo ...
