Last month’s NAP proved remarkably prescient when I said, “the shares would go like the clappers” after the next update - they certainly did. 42p at the time, they soared to 114p. As expected, SPEC had a difficult H2 due to lower sales in Germany but has seen an improving trend recently. At the same time, currency has reversed, costs have been taken out and there is headroom on its facilities. No changes to forecasts. After such a mercurial spike like this, you may wish to take a partial profit to leave a ‘free’ carry. ...
