A lack of space last time meant I omitted my update on Eckoh, whose Callguard systems help take card payments more securely in call centres. The interims show sales fell 3% to £15.7m (excluding the one-off US$2.1m Coral licence in the prior year). Speaking to CEO Nik Philpot, it seems that Eckoh is gaining traction in the US. The main story in the past few years has been the managed decline of its PSS division, which maintained call centre hardware for third parties.
