Underlying profit for the year just ended is expected to be slightly ahead of expectations.Sales were driven mostly by Institutional FX and Alpha Payment. The core Corporate business, based in London and Canada, had seen slightly lower H1 revenues caused by several clients reducing their FX activity during the pandemic but has seen an improvement in H2. London performed well, Canada is now profitable and a new team in Amsterdam is now operational. Client numbers increased by 16% during the year from 648 to 754 and the number of front office staff was flat at 78, only up 4 since the H1, and this is adrift of the 16 new joiners I had been expecting in my last update.
