Great value emerged over the last month in the UK stock market and there was a significant bounce in some areas. Is the Autumn-cum-Christmas correction over? In December we noted the possibility of Peak Dow and Peak Trump having occurred in 2018. Then last month highlighted the alternative view, suggested by Elliott Wave analysis, that another uptrend lay not too far ahead, after a bit more downside.Trump gets that the stock market is a barometer of the likelihood of his re-election in a little less than two years so what can he do to stop the rot in the stock market?
