Alpha FX started the New Year with a bang and said Q4 trading continued to be strong and profits for 2018 will “be ahead of market expectations.” This reflects the newly established institutional FX business, as well as client wins and higher wallet share in both its UK and overseas offices. It is expected that this year will see further increases in investment in technology and back-office infrastructure to take full advantage of market opportunities.After several upgrades, Alpha is now projected to report eps 40% ahead of the IPO 22 months ago.
