Excellent 2016 results from Staffline. Overall, sales went up 26% to £882.4m (12% organic), pretax profit by 27% to £35.9m and eps went up 23% to 114p.Back in 2005, when I first tipped Staffline at just 105p, who would have dreamt it would come so far. Back then its Staffing business operated 17 site based units on customers’ premises under chief executive Andy Hogarth’s “Onsite model” whereas in 2016 alone it opened 52 (to take the total 357). There are 50,000 workers across those onsites, around 75% of which are EU migrants and although there have been fewer migrants coming into the UK post the Brexit vote, Staffline still managed to fill all the jobs and segmental underlying ...
