Innovaderma released its post Christmas trading update, which said H1 sales went up 80% to £3m. Some investors had been looking for the company to say it was “materially ahead” and were disappointed, resulting in huge volatility in the thinly traded shares. But separately the company has said that a heads of agreement with a Far Eastern distributor and outlined in the admission document has fallen by the wayside. It would have meant sizeable minimum order commitments but a replacement deal is being worked on. As it was never factored into forecasts it was a surprise to see the shares come off further.
