Supergroup came through the Christmas period intact and despite tough comparables and uncontrollables like the warm weather, it recorded sales up 14.6% year-on-year for the 11 weeks to 9 January (+1.2% LFL). The Group opened 11 new stores, of which four were in Germany. Management was particularly pleased with the performance of womenswear and the Idris collection. It also reiterated its gross margin guidance +40bps to +60bps.  No change to forecasts with Investec forecasting eps of 68.7p for the year to end April and a mouthwatering 80.3p next year.
