In the case of this month's recommendation, Entertainment One (E1), which exploits entertainment-based intellectual property rights including films and television programming, it has just completed its largest ever equity-funded acquisition, Alliance Films.But the depressant effect has been there for some time because E1 had been working on the acquisition for months and institutions had been expecting the big equity-funded deal, removing their incentive to bid up the price of the existing stock.
