EMIS has issued a trading update, which said by the end of 2012, 1,635 EMISWeb practices had gone live, well up from 747 at the half-year stage. That means 38% of the estate have moved over and towards the end of Q4, EMIS run rate of porting the remaining customers has reached almost 200 per month.Speaking to chief executive, Sean Riddel, it is interesting to note that during the final months of 2012 rival iSoft announced a decision to exit the market in England and Northern Ireland by October. This unexpected event has meant that most of the 500 GPs served by iSoft will be looking to move system by March.
