Since our last update, Alliance has announced the purchase of two more dermatology brands; Quinoderm, an acne treatment, and Ceanel, a shampoo for treating scalp psoriasis. It is paying £1.5m for the two, which have annual combined sales of £0.6m. The acquisitions will offset some of the reduction being seen in sales of Alliance's treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, Deltacortril and its low dose aspirin sold in the Irish market, Nu-Seals.Separately, Alliance said it expects to report profits for the year to 31 December that will be in line with market expectations.Surprising to see the shares retrace on the back of this.
