Biometric firm RCG went over 90p following rumours that the 27 per cent stake controlled by the estate of Nina Wang had moved through the probate process and was set to be placed with several institutional shareholders.The speculations were subsequently quashed by RCG which said the share price rise was more likely to be linked to strong trading enjoyed in H2 09. In particular, it said its solutions side has had a very strong time, driven by several contracts from government agencies in Malaysia, China and in Southeast Asia.
