Scott Wilson continues like a train with H1 results seeing turnover lift 23% to £113m. Pretax profit was £8m and eps, 7.6p. Operating profit increased from £4.9m to £7.1m with the operating margin remaining at 6.3%. In our August update we pointed out that "brokers had a pretty pedestrian outlook on margins which they were predicting to hit only 6% by 2009," so it is nice to see the improvement coming through rapidly.
