The shares rocketed after RC reported that H2 had seen stronger than expected sales driven by recently introduced biometric access products, with the markets in Southern Asia and the Middle East expanding particularly fast. Results for 2006, which are due on 12 March, will be “significantly ahead of market expectations.” For 2006, Corporate Synergy has upgraded its sales forecast to £54.9m, almost quadruple the previous year and its pretax estimate is lifted to £15.7m. Eps on a 6% tax charge is 8.2p. Cash at the year end is estimated at £19m. The forecast for the current year is £17.9m pretax and eps of 8.4p although this looks certain to be lifted before long. ...
